Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport has given approval to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation order and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £860 to funded from the Cheadle Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme North Ward allocation):-

 

Introduce No Waiting at Any Time

 

Thornton Road

 

Westerly side, from the South Easterly kerb line of Finney Lane for a distance of 25 metres in a Southerly direction.

 

Easterly side, from the South Easterly kerb line of Finney Lane for a distance of 26 metres in a Southerly direction.

 

The Cheadle Area Committee considered this matter at its meeting on 21 July 2020 and supported the proposals in principle, subject to the amendment of the original recommendation to the extension of the proposed ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions further along Thornton Road.  The above decision incorporates such an amendment that has been endorsed by the Cheadle Hulme North ward Highway Ward Spokesperson.
