Purpose:

To update the Corporate Resource Management & Governance Scrutiny Committee on progress in relation to condition and capacity projects within the Schools Capital Programme.

Consider and comment on the contents of the report and recommendations made.

Decision:

The Cabinet considered an update on progress within the Schools Capital Programme and agreed that

 

·         the report and progress with the Schools Capital Programme be noted;

·         the condition schemes as detailed in Appendix 1 of the report be progressed;

·         a feasibility study for the rebuild of Moorfield Primary School be undertaken.

Declarations or conflicts of Interest: Councillor David Meller declared a personal and prejudicial interest as the Vice-Chair of governors of Whitehill Primary School that was named in the report. Councillor Elise Wilson declared a personal and prejudicial interest as a governor of Adswood Primary School that was named in the report. Both councillors left the meeting during consideration of this item and took no part in the discussion or vote.
