Purpose:
To consider and agree the implications of implementing self- financing for the Stockport Housing Revenue Account from April 2012 and agree the 30 year business plan and asset management strategy for the Housing Revenue Account.
Decision:
The Executive Meeting considered proposals for the self-financing of the Housing Revenue Account through a one-off settlement with the Government and endorsed the development of an Asset Management Strategy and Business Plan to facilitate the self-financing of the Housing Revenue Account as outlined in the report.
