The Area Committee has considered the results of the investigation following a request for the introduction of traffic calming measures on the non-traffic calmed section of Palmer Avenue, Cheadle and approved the introduction of the following measures at an approximate cost of £4,650 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation):-

Proposed Traffic Calming Feature, Speed Cushions 2.55 metres long, 1.9 metres wide and 75 millimetres high as follows:-

Palmer Avenue, Cheadle – approximately 47 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Shakespeare Drive, Cheadle

Palmer Avenue, Cheadle – approximately 29 metres south east of the north easterly kerb line of Gainsborough Drive, Cheadle.
