The Cabinet Member has considered a package of complementary measures in Hazel Grove and Stepping Hill wards arising from the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR), including the outcome of consultations on the proposed schemes, and has approved the advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders contained within Appendix C of the report and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the Orders being made.

The Stepping Hill Area Committee supported the proposals and authorised the Cabinet Member to approve those elements of the proposals that fell within its delegated powers in order that the schemes could be approved as a single package of measures.

The costs of the proposals are to be met from within the A6MARR scheme budget.
