The Area Committee considered a proposal to upgrade the existing permit parking scheme on Spring Gardens from a free to a charged scheme in line with Council policy and then approved the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the following Orders being made:
Revoke Resident Permit Parking / No Waiting at Any Time:
Spring Gardens
Both sides from a point 27 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Commercial Road in a South Easterly and thence in a North Easterly direction to its cul-de-sac end.
Revoke No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am – 7pm:
Spring Gardens
Both sides from a point 22 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Commercial road for a distance of 5 metres in a South Easterly direction.
Introduce Permit Parking:
Spring Gardens
Both sides from a point 22 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Commercial Road in a South Easterly direction and thence in a North Easterly direction to its cul-de-sac end.
Introduce No Waiting at Any Time:
Spring Gardens
North Easterly side from a point 4.5 metres South East of the projected North Westerly property line of No. 25 in a South Easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres and thence North Easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres (following the kerb line).
