The Area Committee considered a report detailing a cost claim submitted on behalf of British Overseas Bank Nominees Limited and WGTC Nominees Limited (the appellant) following the refusal of planning permission by the Area Committee in respect of an application for the demolition of vacant cottages and the erection of a new access road, boundary treatments, landscaping, lighting (application in full) and the erection of an A3/A4 unit (outline application with all matters reserved except for access) at land to the north of Stanley Green Retail Park, Earle Road.
The Area Committee has agreed to delegate to the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (in consultation with the Chair and ward spokesperson) approval of expenditure from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget in relation to costs associated with the claim submitted by the applicant, subject to further negotiation with the applicant on the overall level of the costs to be reimbursed.
