The Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing) has approved the introduction of the Zebra Crossing and the associated statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order, and subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date the order can be made, on Hulme Hall Road, Cheadle Hulme:-
Proposed No Waiting at Any Time
Hulme Hall Road, Cheadle Hulme, west side, from a point 98 metres south of the southerly kerb line of Hulme Hall Avenue for a distance of 6 metres in a southerly direction.
Proposed No Waiting Monday – Saturday 8am – 6.30pm
Hulme Hall Road, Cheadle Hulme, east side, from a point 98 metres south of the southerly kerb line of Hulme Hall Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction.
Proposed Zebra Crossing and associated works
Hulme Hall Road, Cheadle Hulme – 78 metres south of Hulme Hall Avenue,
(adjacent to the Smith Green residential complex, as outlined on plan 1173/GA/001).
The approximate £15,000 cost of the proposal to be jointly funded form the 2016-17 Capital Programme and the Area Committee Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme South ward allocation).
The Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee supported the proposal.
To not introduce the measures as they Corporate Director did not advise that the proposal met with the usual criterion for a new crossing patrol.
