For the Executive to consider a joint highway
coring arrangement between Salford City Council and Stockport
MBC.
The Executive considered a proposal to enter into an arrangement with Salford City Council to undertake highway coring, and agreed that:-
· approval be given to a joint highway coring arrangement between Salford City Council and Stockport Council;
· agreement be given to delegate the functions set out in section 4.0 of the report (table of delegated functions) to Salford City Council;
· the Corporate Director (Place Management & Regeneration) in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Communities & Sustainability) be authorised to approve the joint coring arrangements on such terms and conditions he considers appropriate and to take any further action required to deliver the coring work, including entering into an Operating Agreement with Salford City Council;
· the Corporate Director (Place Management & Regeneration) in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Communities & Sustainability) be authorised to determine the success of the trial and extend the arrangement for up to 2 years.
