Purpose:

To agree a strategic approach to managing advertising on and adjacent to the highway and in car parks. The proposal to generate additional income in 2013/14 by collaborative working with Trafford Council utilising the above approach was approved in December 2012 as part of the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan.

 

Decision:

Further to the decision of the Executive Meeting on 1 October 2014 to adopt the strategic approach to managing advertising on all Council assets, the Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) has given his approval to the Partnership Agreement between Stockport and Trafford Councils in accordance with the proposals contained in the report of 1 October.
