The Area Committee has approved an application from the Bridgway Church group to hold a ‘light in the night bonfire blast’ in Heaton Norris Park on 5 November 2012, subject to clarification on the publicity for the event that this is an event organised by a Christian group and will include a religious message, and motorists attending the event being encouraged to park on the Bridgefield Street car park helping to reduce inconvenience to residents who live in the vicinity of Heaton Norris Park.
