Purpose:

This report outlines the 2024/25 fee setting recommendations for the most significant areas of externally commissioned services within Adult Social Care. The Council is committed to working with our partners in the private and voluntary sectors to continue to ensure a sustainable and high-quality market for care provision. The process undertaken in this annual exercise builds on and benefits from the strong working relationship with our provider markets. It is against this backdrop of collaboration and a desire to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people of Stockport, that this report and its recommendations are presented.

Decision:

The Cabinet has considered a report outlining the commissioning proposals and 2024/25 fee setting for the most significant areas of externally commissioned service provision for adults with care needs and has given approval to the fee setting approach, including fee uplifts, as detailed in the report.
