The Area Committee has approved an application received from the Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold their annual half-marathon on Sunday 4th September 2022 long the Trans Pennine Trail between the Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester. The event will start at 9.30am and finish at 12.30pm, setting up from 9.00am, subject to the organiser obtaining and submitting the appropriate papers, event plans, health & safety documentation, licences and/or insurances and fees and charges.
