Purpose:

To seek cabinet approval of the strategic framework for increasing the scale of public and private investment available to the Mayoral Development Corporation.

Decision:

The Cabinet has considered the proposed Stockport Mayoral Development Corporation Investment Framework and has:-

 

(1) Given approval to the Stockport Mayoral Development Corporation Investment Framework.

 

(2) Authorised officers to progress the work required to secure future investment in Stockport Town Centre regeneration.

Councillor Elise Wilson declared a personal and prejudicial interest as a member of the Board of the Stockport Town Centre West Mayoral Development Corporation. It was noted that the Standards Committee had approved a dispensation to enable those councillors who were members of the Board of the Stockport Town Centre West Mayoral Development Corporation and who would otherwise have a personal and prejudicial interest in the matter being discussed to take part in the debate and vote at the meeting.

 

The Chief Executive declared an interest as a member of the Board of the Stockport Town Centre West Mayoral Development Corporation
