Purpose:

The Council is currently undertaking a system review of the Council's approach to Prevention and Early Help, by providing a cohesive all age offer. The offer for adults is building on the previous work undertaken with the voluntary sector and other partners in 2014.

Decision:

The Cabinet has considered a report detailing the system review of the Council's approach to Prevention and Early Help, by providing a cohesive all age offer and has:-

 

(1) Noted the contents of this report.

 

(2) Given approval to proceed to the procurement stage for this commissioning exercise.

 

(3) Delegated the award of contracts upon completion of the procurement exercises to the Director of Adult Social Care (DASS), or for Public Health specific contracts to the Director of Public Health.
