The Area Committee has given approval to an application from Beacon Counselling for an increased grant of £2000 from the Ward Flexibility Funding Budget (£500 from each ward allocation) towards the cost of anticipating even higher levels of demand for 2021 as financial hardship, isolation, and particularly bereavement, continue to impact mental health and support towards funding the voluntary service for those within the ward for 2021.
