Purpose:
The purpose of this paper is to share the
Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman’s (the
Ombudsman) report regarding a complainant (Mr X) being refused a
parking permit in the CPZ (see Appendix A). This paper summarises
the Ombudsman’s findings and recommendations and details the
remedial action taken by the Council following the
decision.
Decision:
The Cabinet considered a report from the Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman’s regarding an upheld complaint against the Council in relation to the Central Parking Zone and the Cabinet then agreed that the Report be noted and the Council’s response to the Ombudsman’s recommendations be endorsed.
