The Cabinet Member for Economy & Regeneration has considered a report setting out a number of amendments to the Council’s list of buildings of local architectural or historic interest and approved that : -

1)    The new and amended entries included within Appendix 1 are included within Stockport’s list of buildings of local architectural and historic value for the purposes of Development Management Policy SIE -3 of the Stockport Core Strategy

2)    Further Consideration is given to the future introduction of Article 4 Directions, where appropriate, to safeguard the external appearance and setting of locally listed buildings through the removal of permitted development rights.
