The Area Committee has approved an application from Gatley Village Partnership for Ward Flexibility Funding of £1,000 towards improving the cost of improving the footpath access to Gatley War Memorial and the installation of a commemorative bench, to be funded from the Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation.
It was also agreed that this funding be released by the Democratic Services Manager when he was advised by the Ward Councillors that it was appropriate to do so, given the scale of the project.
