The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing considered proposals to reduce inappropriate parking creating hazards for pedestrians and drivers on Wilmslow Road, Heald Green and has approved the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the Order being made:-
Wilmslow Road, Cheadle – ‘No Waiting at Any Time’
East Side
From a point 2.3 metres, north east of the boundary line of property No. 329, to a point 37 metres north east of the projected southern kerb line of Outwood
Road.
West Side
From a point 42 metres north east, of the intersection of the southern kerb line of Outwood Road, for a distance of 62 metres in a south westerly direction.
Outwood Road, Cheadle – ‘No Waiting at Any Time’
Both Sides
From the intersections of the southern kerb line of Outwood Road, and western kerb line of Wilmslow Road, for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly direction.
Wilmslow Road, Cheadle – Limited Waiting Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm
East Side
From a point 20 metres, south of the intersection of the southern kerb line of Outwood Road for a distance 85 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Cheadle Area Committee supported the proposals and agreed that the scheme be funded e funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (HealdGreen Ward allocation) at an approximate cost of £1,500.
