The Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing) has approved the following Traffic Regulation Order approves the legal advertising of the traffic regulation order contained in Appendix A of the report and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the orders can be made:

 

Proposed No Loading 10.30am-4pm (Pedestrian Zone) Traffic Regulation Order (refer to drawing ref: 0527/401A/TRO/010)

 

·           Deanery Way, both sides between Merseyway shopping centre and Great Underbank

 

Proposed Prohibition of Driving 10.30am – 4pm Mon – Sun

 

·           Deanery Way, both sides between Merseyway shopping centre and Great Underbank

 

Proposed Prohibition of Left Turn Traffic Regulation Order (refer to drawing ref: 0527/401A/TRO/010)

 

·           Mealhouse Brow at the junction with Lower Hillgate

 

The funding of the scheme is to be met from the Town Centre Access Package programme.

 

The Central Stockport Area Committee supported the proposals.
