The Area Committee considered the objections received to a proposed Traffic Regulation Order on Queens Road and Buckingham Road, Cheadle Hulme and supported the second objection so that the following part of the schedule is amended as follows:-
Proposed No Waiting Monday – Friday 8.30am – 9.30am and 3.00pm – 4.00pm
Buckingham Road, Cheadle Hulme - south east side, from a point 4 metres north of the projected north easterly kerb line of Carlton Avenue for a distance of 35 metres in a south westerly direction.(to replace the advertised proposal for No Waiting At Any Time on the section of the road).
The Area Committee also agreed that the remaining parts of the Order will be made as advertised.
To make the Order as advertised.
Councillor Sylvia Humphreys declared a Personal and Prejudicial Interest in this item as she is related to a pupil at Oak Tree Primary School. Councillor Humphreys left the meeting during consideration of the item and took no part in the discussion or vote.
Councillor Keith Holloway declared a Personal Interest in the item as a Governor at the School.
