Purpose:

The purpose of the report is to update the forecasts for the Council’s finances for the period 2014/15 to 2016/17 following publication of the provisional local government finance settlement on 18 December 2013. This report takes as its starting point the position set out in the previous report considered by the Executive at its meeting on 17 December 2013.

Decision:

The Council Meeting has noted the updated forecasts for the Council’s finances for the period 2014/15 to 2016/17 taking account of the 2014/15 and 2015/16 local government finance settlement published on 5 February 2014.
