Decision:

The Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) has approved a scheme to improve the levels of safety and reduce the potential risk for road traffic incidents at the Crookilley Way roundabout in Bredbury, in particular the M60 and A560 north bound exits and on the west side of the roundabout.

The scheme includes the installation of sight screens to restrict extent of forward visibility for A560 traffic, the clearing of vegetation to improve visibility for M60 traffic and the renewal of carriageway junction markings and replace damaged chevron boards

The funding has already been approved in principle by the Executive Councillor as part of the Capital Programme 2013/14.

The Werneth Area Committee supported the proposals.
