Decision:

The Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) and Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee have approved the introduction of a Moving Traffic Regulation Order and associated Traffic Regulation Order to improve road safety in the vicinity of Bradshaw Hall Primary School. The £5450 cost of the scheme is to be funded from the Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget.

 

The Orders are as follows:-

 

Proposed One – Way Traffic

 

Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, from its junction with Turves Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Revocation ofNo Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

 

Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, south east side, from a point 47 metres north east of the projected north easterly kerb line of Blossoms Hey for a distance of 88 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

         

Blossoms Hey, Cheadle Hulme, both sides, from the north westerly kerb line of Vernon Close for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

 

Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, north west side from a point 5 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Blossoms Hey to a point 5 meters south west of the south westerly kerb line of Blossoms Hey

         

Proposed Restriction of Waiting Mon – Fri 8am-9.30am & 3pm- 4pm

 

Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, north west side, from a point 48 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Blossoms Hey for a distance of 17 metres in a north easterly then north westerly direction.         

 

Proposed No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

 

Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, south east side, from a point 36 metres north east of the projected north easterly kerb line of Blossoms Hey for a distance of 25.5 metres in a north easterly direction.

 

Vernon Close, Cheadle Hulme, south east side, from a point 5 metres north east of the projected north easterly kerb line of Blossoms Hey for a distance of 25.5 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

Proposed One – Way Traffic

 

Vernon Road, Cheadle Hulme, from a point 15 metres south east of the south easterly junction of Turves Road, for a distance of 150 metres in a south easterly then south westerly direction.

 

The following additional measures have been agreed:-

           

·         Access Protection Marking

·         Ahead Only and Arrow carriageway road markings

·         Carriageway Centre Line

·         Give Way carriageway road markings

·         No Entry carriageway road markings
