Decision details

The Executive Councillor (Economic Development & Regeneration) and the Cheadle Area Committee have approved the installation of a replacement bench at the bus stop on Wilmslow Road, Heald Green outside no. 236, and agreed to the associated works to improve ground conditions and secure the bench, including:-

·         Excavation of existing ground and formation of sub base;

·         Construct a new bench platform 3m x 1.8m using concrete flags;

·         Provide and lay concrete edging;

·         Supply and fix new metal bench.

The £1897 cost is to be funded equally by the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget (Heald Green Ward allocation) and the Strategic Budget.
