The Service Director (Legal & Democratic Services), in consultation with the Executive Councillor (Governance & Corporate Services) has approved the sale of the North Reddish Junior & Infants Schools, Longford Road, Reddish in accordance with Offer 1 as detailed in the exempt appendix to the report, and for the sale to proceed at the earliest opportunity.

Two offers had been received following marketing of the site. The Offer that has been accepted was considered best price for the site, given the nature of the site.

(Note: the report considered by the Service Director include information within its appendix that was ‘not for publication’ by virtue of Category 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) in that it contained ‘information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority)).
