Purpose:

To update and seek authority for revised terms for the land disposal

Decision:

The Cabinet considered the former Ritz Cinema Car Park, Fletcher Street Update detailing the disposal of the former Ritz Cinema car park, Fletcher Street and agreed to:-

 

·         Give approval to dispose of the site at Fletcher St (former Ritz Cinema car park) in line with the recommendation report in Confidential Appendix 3 and the Heads of Terms as detailed in Confidential Appendix 2;

·         Delegate authority to the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Development & Regeneration, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Economy, Regeneration & Housing and the Cabinet Member for Finance & Resources to negotiate and agree the detailed final terms relating to the disposal of the interest in the site.

·         Delegate authority to the Assistant Director (Legal & Democratic Governance) to do all things necessary or incidental to the implementation of the above-mentioned resolutions.
