Ward Flexibility Funding - Stockport Together

Decision Maker: Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee

Decision status: For Determination

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Decision:

The Area Committee has given approval to an application from Stockport Together for a grant of £100 from the Ward Flexibility Budget (£50 from each of the Bramhall North and Cheadle Hulme South ward allocations) towards the cost of holding a community fun day to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee as a community.

Alternative options considered:

To make a grant of £400 (£150 each from Bramhall North and Bramhall South and £100 from Cheadle Hulme South ward allocations) as originally applied for. However, in the light of Members’ concerns regarding the lack of detail in the application, and so as to preserve the Committee’s ability to make grants to other organisations, it was agreed that the Committee would fund a reduced sum of the original request.
