The Area Committee has approved the use of Woodbank Memorial Park and Vernon Park on 26 June 2022 between 9.00am-12.30pm as part of a wider application for the Stockport Active Weekend Event which is being organised by the Council along with partners Transport for Greater Manchester, Running Bee Foundation, Stockport Business Improvement District and British Cycling, subject to all appropriate paperwork and licences being obtained and the parking situation being highlighted on social media prior to the event taking place.
