The Area Committee has given approval to an application received from Friends of Highfield Orchard for a grant of £500 from the Ward Flexibility Budget (Cheadle Hulme South ward allocation) towards the cost of purchasing gardening equipment.
Alternative options considered:
To make a grant of £1000 (Cheadle Hulme South ward allocation) as originally applied for. However, in the light of the available budget remaining, and so as to preserve the Committee’s ability to make grants to other organisations, it was agreed that the Committee would fund a reduced sum of the original request.
