Paper to outline the proposed approach to the
re-commissioning of the Integrated Sexual Health service in
The Cabinet has considered a proposed approach to the re-commissioning of the Integrated Sexual Health service in Stockport and has given approval to go out to tender on the basis identified in the report and that the approval to award the contract be delegated to the Director of Public Health in line with her duties in terms of managing the Council’s Public Health functions and delegation to enter into contracts, following consultation with the appropriate Cabinet Member.
Reason Key: Significant expenditure or savings;
Wards Affected: (All Wards);
Equality and/or Environmental Impact Assessment: An equalities impact assessment will be undertaken prior to publishing any tender document. However, given the nature of the services that will be provided and the contractual obligations we will be placing on providers, we do not see any issues that would disadvantage any individuals or groups including those with protected characteristic. In terms of environmental impact, elements of this commission would be well suited for digital solutions and engagement and we will consider that within the context of reducing environmental impact.
Decision Reference: CAB315
Declarations or conflicts of Interest: None.
