Purpose:
The Cabinet will be asked to consider and
approve the extension of the contract between the Council, Tameside
Hospital NHS Foundation Trust that provides for Public Mortuary and
Autopsy Related Post Mortem Services. The original contract
provides for an extension but is being brought to Cabinet due to
the financial value of the extension.
Decision:
The Cabinet has considered a proposal for the extension of the contract between the Council and Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the provision of Public Mortuary and Autopsy Related Post Mortem Services and has given. approval to the extension of the contract on the terms identified in the report
