Purpose:
To approve the Child Poverty Strategy and Action Plan 2011-14.
Decision:
The Executive Meeting has approved the Stockport Child Poverty Strategy and Action Plan for 2011-14, and invited the Children & Young People’s Scrutiny Committee to monitor the implementation of the Strategy and Action Plan.
The Executive also reaffirmed the Council’s current practice of requiring the completion of an Equality Impact Assessment as part of the decision making process for Council policies.
