The Area Committee has considered the allocation of commuted sums for play provision in the Central Stockport area and approved the following:-
· the allocation of £2,342.34 from development no. 1256 (DC064627, White Lion) to Heaton Norris Park.
· the allocation of £14,458.08 from development no. 1254 (DC021312, Mac House, St. Thomas Place) to St. Thomas Recreation Ground.
These commuted sums were received by the Council from housing developers towards the cost of play provision prior to April 2015 and therefore are not subject to the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations.
The following options were also considered:-
· allocating £2,342.34 from development no. 1256 (DC064627, White Lion) to Covent Garden.
· allocating £14,458.08 from development no. 1254 (DC021312, Mac House St. Thomas Place) to Shaw Heath Park or Hollywood Park.
