Decision:

The Area Committee considered proposals to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on parts of Arundel Avenue (including Harlech Drive and Warwick Drive) in Hazel Grove in order to reduce conflict and congestion amid with traffic near the junction with Lyndhurst Avenue and agreed that the Traffic Regulation Order be approved, at a cost of £960 to be funded from the Area Committee Delegated Budget (Stepping Hill Ward allocation) and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the order being made:

Arundel Avenue

 

North West side from a point 12 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Lyndhurst Avenue in a South Westerly direction to a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Harlech Drive (a distance of approx. 69 metres).

 

South East side from a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerb line of Warwick Drive in a South Westerly direction to a point 18 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Warwick Drive (a distance of approx. 35 metres).

 

Harlech Drive

 

Both sides from the North Westerly kerb line of Arundel Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a North Westerly direction.

 

Warwick Drive

 

Both sides from the South Easterly kerb line of Arundel Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a South Easterly direction.

 

Service Road serving 61 – 91 Arundel Avenue

 

North side from North Westerly kerb line of Arundel Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in a Westerly direction (following the kerb profile).

 

South side from the North Westerly kerb line of Arundel Avenue for a distance of 9 metres in a Westerly direction (following the kerb profile)

 

Not forming part of the Traffic Regulation Order, two signs to be erected as indicated on drawing number: NM8/4862/02 informing motorists that additional car parking space is available at the rear of the shops.
