Decision:
The Area Committee has made an award of £525 from the Area Flexibility Fund to the Torkington House Residents Group as a contribution toward the cost a day trip to Llandudno for residents as part of work to overcome social isolation.
The Area Committee have also agreed that in the event the Group was unable to secure the additional £200 required, that this Area Committee would make up this shortfall in funding.
Alternative options considered:
To make a grant of £550 only. The Area Committee agreed to provisionally allocate an additional £200 to ensure the viability of the scheme and to maximise its impact.
