The Area Committee considered proposals for the use of commuted sums for play provision in the Stepping Hill area and approved the following allocations:-
· the use of £114,940.30 from development no.1258 (DC056357, Former Man Diesel Site, Mirlees Drive) allocated to Great Moor Park (£57,470.15) and Green Lane (£57,470.15)
· the use £836.55 from development no.1214 (DC050260, April Cottage, 18 Flowery Field) to Great Moor Park
· the use of £669.24 from development no.1260 (DC55032, 18 Hazel Street) to Torkington Park
· the reallocate of £14,133.77 from development no.1267 (DC056267, Chapel Street) to Torkington Park.
The Area Committee deferred the allocation of sums from development no.1164 (DC048027, Former Dialstone Centre, Offerton) and no.1197 (DC057193, The Dialstone Centre, Lisburne Lane) and requested clarification on whether these sums can be spent to upgrade facilities on the Offerton Park Estate.
