The report advises members on the outcome of
the consultation on changing the names of the Werneth and Marple
Area Committees to ‘Marple and High Lane Area
Committee’ and the ‘Bredbury, Romiley and Woodley Area
Committee’ respectively
Decision:
The Cabinet considered the outcome of a consultation with the public on the possible change of name of the Werneth and Marple area committees and the recommendations of the area committee themselves and in light of these agreed that no further action be taken.
