Purpose:

Stockport Council is progressing an ambitious Growth and Reform Programme. This report outlines the latest position with regards to the Growth and Reform programme in Stockport and seeks to provide a Cabinet response to the challenges facing the organisation.

Decision:

A joint report (copies of which had been circulated) of the Leader of the Council (Policy, Finance and Devolution) and Cabinet Member for Reform and Governance was submitted setting out the Medium Term Financial Plan update which is in two parts:-

 

·         Medium Term Financial Plan Summer Review

 

·         Medium Term Financial Plan Cabinet Response: Stockport’s Growth and Reform Programme.

Equality and/or Environmental Impact Assessment: Equality Impact Assessments will be prepared as appropriate for specific proposals. The report will also consider any cross-cutting considerations.

This report is presented by Cabinet ahead of further consultation. Proposals will proceed through relevant scrutiny committees following this meeting and will undertake further consultation where appropriate.
