The Area Committee considered proposals to introduce traffic management measures on Lyndhurst avenue to improve safety for pedestrians and pupils at the nearby school and has given approval to the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Order at a cost of approximately £ 1,600 (including works outside of the legal Order) to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Stepping Hill Ward allocation):-

Revoke No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm:

North side from a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Stokesay Drive for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction.

North side from a point 15 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Stokesay Drive for a distance of 20 metres in an Easterly direction.

The Area Committee also approved the placement of wooden posts as indicated in the plan in the report (drawing number: NM8/4195/02)
