This report is presented in a new format, combining the previous quarterly performance (Balanced Scorecard) and financial monitoring reports (FMRs) to summarise the mid-year position in delivering the Council’s priorities, budget and capital programme for 2011/12.

Individual performance and resources reports have been produced for each executive portfolio.

The Executive Meeting considered and noted the mid-year position for the delivery the Council’s priorities, budget and capital programme for 2011-12 and agreed to:-

(i)           the virements and budget adjustments to the Revenue Budget as set out in Appendix 3 of the report;

(ii)         the approach to managing revenue surpluses and deficits, and proposed contributions to/from the General Fund and HRA earmarked reserves as set out in the report;

(iii)       the changes to the Capital Programme as detailed in Appendix 4 of the report, and

(iv)       the resourcing of the Capital Programme as detailed in Appendix 5 of the report.

Councillor Shan Alexander declared a personal interest as reference was made within the report to schemes involving Stockport Hydro, of which her husband was a founder member.
