The Area Committee has approved the allocation of commuted sums for play provision as follows:-
· £334.62 from development no. 52524 (306 Buxton Road, Great Moor) towards future playground improvements at Dysart Street Play Area.
· £501.93 from development no. 1116 (DC052832, 104 Chester Road, Hazel Grove) towards future playground improvements at Blaire Close Play Area.
Alternative options considered:
To allocate the £334.62 from development no. 52524 towards future playground improvements at Boothby Street Park. This option was not proceeded with as Boothby Street Park was due for refurbishment following the completion of drainage works by United Utilities.
