Aside from the obvious noise nuisance this causes for the surrounding residents and concerns for walkers attempting to walk the dogs and exercise on the field. There is also a clear risk to the young people and children who are on the bikes and not wearing helmets or protective clothes. In addition others accessing the field who could easily be hit, particularly the numerous children whom frequent the field.
The bikes appear to be travelling upward of 70 miles an hour, and could cause serious injury to either themselves and others and the noise in our gardens is significant, and disrupts our home-lives considerably. During sunny days, it can go on from mid morning to as late as 11pm.
