The Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport has approved the allocation of ‘Investment Fund’ monies of;

£37,000  to play improvements at Bruntwood Park

£30,000 to play improvements at Adder Park

£20,000 to play improvements at High Lane Park

The Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport has approved the allocation of £35,000 of formal sport commuted sum (made up of contributions received during April 2011 and March 2014) to a new multi use sports facility in Cheadle Heath Park

The Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport has approved the allocation of £10,000 of formal sport commuted sum (made up of contributions received during April 2011 and March 2014) will be invested in vital refurbishments at Ladybridge Sports Club (Cheadle Hulme Amalgamated Sports Club).

The Cabinet Members for Resources, Commissioning & Governance and Economy & Regeneration have considered a proposal for the implementation of a top up grant scheme for businesses that were not eligible for the other grants linked to business rates that the government had previously made available.

The new grant scheme will be administered by local authorities, and they would have discretion to determine eligibility and grant levels below £10,000, with grants of £25,000 also being available in exceptional circumstances.

The Cabinet Members for Resources, Commissioning & Governance and Economy & Regeneration have given approval to the proposed grant scheme for Stockport, as outlined in the report, and the associated guidance document.

The Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration has granted planning permission for the refurbishment and extension of Pepper House to create 14 individual B1 units, new business accommodation on land to the east of Pepper House and the creation of a new business hub to the front of the site, together with internal road layout alterations and parking at Pepper House, 1 Bramhall Moor Industrial Park, Pepper Road, Hazel Grove.

The Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration has granted planning permission the removal of condition 13 of planning permission DC040563 at Pear Tree Cottage, Hill Top Farm, Ridge Road, Marple to change the use of the building from that previously granted as a holiday let to a separate residential dwellinghouse (retrospective) subject (i) to the applicant entering into a Section 106 agreement relating to the provision and maintenance of formal recreation and children’s play space and facilities within the Borough to meet the needs of the residents of the development; and (ii) the removal of permitted development rights.

The Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration has granted planning permission for the erection of eight dwellings with associated landscaping, parking and access and Minor Material Amendment to planning permission DC075538 in terms of elevational alterations at Moorend Golf Club, Driving Range, Woodford Road, Woodford.
