The Panel at its meeting on 28 October gave approval to holding three themed meetings based around the three strands identified during the scoping of the Review.

The third of these meetings is based on recruitment and retention in residential care settings.  The Adult social care workforce Recruitment and Retention Strategy for 2014-2017 which has been prepared by Skills for Care on behalf of the Department of Health’s recruitment and retention group is appended to this item to stimulate discussion.

The Panel is recommended to comment on and note the report.
