Under part 5A, section 4 of the Constitution, GMCA members are required to note the appointment of the Greater Manchester Interim Mayor as the Chair of the GMCA.

Under Part 5A, section 4, of the Constitution, GMCA members are required to appoint at least 2 but no more than 3 Vice Chairs for 2016/17, with no one political group holding all the vice-chair positions on the GMCA.
