Demolition of existing car showroom, vacant offices and vacant former workshop and erection of 4 storey office accommodation (Use Class B1) with associated access, basement and ground floor car parking, landscaping and ancillary works.

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission.

RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be authorised to determine the application, subject to the applicant paying a financial contribution of £2,500 towards amending the existing Traffic Regulation Orders to facilitate highway works which would include:-

·         the formation of a parking/servicing bay on Bamford Street;

·         the widening of the footway on Millbrook Street abutting the site; and

·         the formation of build-outs at the junction of Millbrook Street and Bamford Street.
