To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 18 September 2013.

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 18 September 2013 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

Hybrid application seeking:-

 

(1) full planning permission for the construction of an office building (Use Class B1) with ground floor commercial units (Use Classes A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 or B1), a hotel (Use Class C1), landscaping, areas of public realm and associated engineering and infrastructure works;

 

(2) outline planning permission, with all matters reserved, for the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of office development (Use Class B1) with ground floor commercial units (Use Classes A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 or B1), a decked car park, landscaping, areas of public realm and associated engineering and infrastructure works.

 

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission.

RESOLVED – (Six for, one abstention) That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be authorised to determine the application, pending consideration being given to the Council and Muse Developments, as the joint applicants, entering into an appropriate legal agreement  with regard to a residents permit parking scheme within the proximity of the site.
