To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 19 June 2013.

Minutes:

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 19 June 2013 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

(a)

To consider development applications where members of the public have attended the meeting in order to hear the Committee's deliberations.

 

(b)

To consider the remaining development applications.

Residential development comprising 21 new dwellings, associated car parking, new access road and site re-levelling (Plot 4) at Land at Hopes Carr (Plot 4) to rear of Watson House, and Chapel Studios.

 

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission.

A development application was submitted.

DC052952 - Land at Hopes Carr (Plot 4) to rear of Watson House and Chapel Studios

 

In respect of plan no. 52952 for a residential development comprising twenty one new dwellings, associated car parking, new access road and site re-levelling (Plot 4) on land at Hopes Carr (Plot 4) to the rear of Watson House and Chapel Studios, it was

 

RESOLVED- That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be authorised to determine the application, pending completion of a Deed of Variation to the Unilateral Undertaking under the Section 106 Agreement to allow for the following:-

 

·         Provision and maintenance of recreation and amenity open space in accordance with policy SIE-2;

·         Highway contributions in respect of improvements to the Waterloo Road/Spring Gardens/Churchgate junction improvement; and

·         New Traffic Regulation Orders and a full Travel Plan.
